Consulting/Training/Support for Healing
Building on the foundation created by pioneers Dan Siegel, Allan Schore, Lou Cozolino, Marco Iacoboni, Steve Porges, Iain McGilchrist, and others, we at Nurturing the Heart are steeped in relational neuroscience, sharing it to support clinicians and healthcare professionals, parents, teachers, and anyone interested in living life in collaboration with the brain's natural healing and meaning-making processes.
Through consultations, trainings near and far, and retreats, many of our programs offer immersion experiences so that we can be together long enough to foster and support personal healing experiences. Through this work, we believe that this profoundly relational perspective can become part of who we are and how we live our lives, as well as work in our professions. We trust that in this way, we can each become a daily, embodied resource for bringing into being a more awake, resilient, and compassionate world. There is also much joy to be found in the relationshps that arise in these gatherings!

Nourishing Our Practitioner's Heart
a new group in the Portland/Vancouver area
Over the years since the publication of The Brain-Savvy Therapist's Workbook, we have received many emails letting us know that the suggestion to work through it with a Listening Partner has proved to be an open door not only to greater embodiment of IPNB principles, but to personal healing.
With that in mind, we believed that an in-person group to work our way through that book might provide particularly helpful support for healthcare practitioners and others interested in applying IPNB principles in their lives. In our first year together, we will take on the first 6 chapters, which address our own mental health through exploring IPNB principles as they apply to us.
We were a bit surprised by the outpouring of interest. As a result, the initial group is now full, and we have a small waiting list. Should there be additional interest, we will begin another 12-month group in the fall. We will have room for a total of 12 people in this second group, too.
$75 per month
with a 12-month commitment
Email Bonnie at email@example.com for more information or to be on the list for the 2nd group.
